I understand that asking for ID is part of the law, and I have no issue with that. What I found frustrating was how the situation was handled. I went to buy drinks with my cousin, who was able to provide her valid physical ID and was purchasing the drinks. The cashier guy also asked for my ID, which I had left in the car. To save time, I offered my digital ID, but the cashier guy refused to accept it. He told me he would only accept the digital ID if I first went to the car and couldn't find my physical ID, which made the wh... read more

Went in around lunch time Xmas eve. Went into a buy a carton of ginger beer and some rum. The staff member opening the cabinet was very friendly and polite, despite doing some hard Yaka on the shelves. Once lined up at the counter a girl served and addressed me as “mate” which was fine till she said about 5-10 times in a very condescending tone as if I was 12.
