We had Sunday lunch today. The food was absolutely great....loved the spinach casserole and baked beans and pork with the sweet sauce. We had concerns about being told we had forgot to pay. While we had not been there in quite awhile, we would have appreciated being told 'you pay before you find your table' and 'you bus your own table' (the bins were conveniently placed) when we are there last, the waitress took your order and the table was bused for you. Better direction regarding changes would have been nice

The chicken was nicely smoked, the people were very friendly. Loved the view of the creek. The molasses BBQ sauce was great, my personal taste, I didn't enjoy the vinegar sauce.

I was in Cherokee for the weekend and wanted something different. Seen the sign and pulled in. I had pork bbq, seasoned potatoes and spiced apples. Wife had half slab, tader salad, baked beans. Meal was delicious, homemade sauces were outstanding! Great service, good food. I will be coming back.

I wanted to see how the meat taste first without dressing it up with sauce. I come from a little town in NC called rocky mount and we cook pigs all the time with a vinegar based sauce with lots of crushed red pepper. I tried the vinegar sauce and it was very tasty. The fries were cooked just right, crispy and not over seasoned. And ... read more

Worst BBQ I've ever had. Hush puppies were dry, fries weren't seasoned, pulled pork and brisket had no flavor and were watered down. Will not go here again.

We LOVE Butts on the Creek! One of my favorites is the pulled pork sandwich & deep fried corn! I just love sitting out back on the porch w/ the creek! WE always come w/ our friends when they come visit!
