We come to NC every year and this is the first place we always stop. Love the BBQ. Be seeing you soon....
Little to no flavor in neither the ribs (they were tender except on the edges), the BBQ, nor the fried corn. The hush puppies were woefully dry and it took a mouthful of tea just to be able to swallow. Seasoning!! Try using a really good homemade dry rub on the ribs. It'll bring a burst of desperately needed flavor.
Flavor of the pork and sauce was good. Dry burnt bun, not so much. Staff was friendly.
Worse bbq we have had.
Huge meal, low price, excellent quality and they gave me a belated birthday present of the best banana pudding in North Carolina; gotta love southern hospitality, PapaJohn Swafford
When we left I figured out why you pay before you eat...it's because they want your money BEFORE you see their food! Our food was very dry with very small portions that came with hefty prices.I would not recommend them to anyone.
