Went last night for the first time and was thoroughly impressed. The tuna was perfect, and the sides complemented the meal perfectly. Service was top notch. I highly recommend!
We are visiting from Florida and ate lunch here today. It was amazing!!! Great value, delicious food, and exceptional customer service!! There was a small mistake made on my order, but the chef/owner came out to our table to not only apologize but made it again and then came back out to our table to make sure it was the way I wanted it. That’s customer service at its finest and very hard to find these days. Our server was super efficient and friendly as well. Fantastic place!

Riding home from this place now with a full belly! Oh my goodness. Pricy, but worth every penny! The atmosphere is awesome - beautiful place, clean, and well decorated... but the food... omg! I ordered a steak and it was PERFECT! So tender and melted in my mouth, my grandmother had the chicken - she enjoyed it a lot! The crab cakes were very small and not done...They did not taste like crab meat, more like tuna or salmon..Terrible...We should have sent them back...The server also brought us rolls cut in half...We only got a half roll...She did come back to the table with s basket and offered another half .She added a tip to our bill and expected us to pay $2.59.
We are never disappointed when we go to Buttermilk Hill for lunch. The atmosphere is peaceful and very relaxing. The food is incredible ~ always consistently delicious and enjoyable. Then, to end the meal with one of their fabulous desserts and coffee ~ who could ask for more, except for a personal visit to your table by the awesome chef, which we received!! Thank you, Buttermilk Hill ~ can hardly wait till the next time!!
Incredible food in a delightful setting. We have eaten here twice, including once for Valentine's dinner. The chef is amazing and friendly, and the food is exceptional - as good as the best restaurants in Birmingham and Atlanta.
