I love all the food at Buttermilk Cafe. I love breakfast there and frequently get a country breakfast or a waffle. It is always a pleasure to see Carol and the staff.

If you come to New Braunfels, Texas and don't stop here you have wasted a trip! Food is amazing and you have to work hard to eat all of it! The service has been top notch- 3 visits -3 different servers and all were great! Thank you for the gluten free menu too!
Great, down home comfort food breakfast. Prepared quite well. I dreamed about the sausage gravy afterward, so good. Friendly hostesses talking to us and hot coffee while waiting. The wait staff is very busy, no chit chat just good, polite service. We will be back. Come hungry.

They don't take reservations so waiting for a table is part of the scenery here. We often come later, 2:30ish or so, when traffic is much reduced. But we keep coming back for the food, never disappoints, and its just fun. Maybe with the anticipated addition to their space some of the wait will be reduced.

Just left the Buttermilk Cafe and will never go back. Was recommended to my husband and myself and we are so disappointed. Food was cold and dry. Service was worse! Will never go back!
