We were in town for Wurstfest and had been hearing about it, so we decided to check it out. The wait line was excruciatingly long. Was told 45 mins to an hour but ended up about 1 hr and 29 mins. Great coffee while you wait. Have to say the breakfast was delicious, very good, complimentary coffee cake, and service was impeccable! The owner and the wait staff were very friendly and engaging. They are enlarging their restaurant soon so hopefully not such a long wait.
Appetizers were perfectly breaded to perfection. Blueberry tea was yummy and we enjoyed our entrees too. Did not disappoint.
Down home and friendly. If the wife and I ever pass through we look forward to some more good conversation with RC. Oh, the food was great too!
The service is delightful,best coffee around and the food was amazing and incredibly delicious,I thoroughly enjoyed the fried green tomatoes,the coastal breakfast as well as the shirred egg dish.the free coffee cake was good and the grilled banana bread beyond delicious
I strongly recommend this restaurant, in New Braunfels. Breakfast was SO good! Fresh fruit, and great service!

Best coffee and the French toast is cinnamony and great! The weary staff is always friendly and attentive. The chef even came out and went around asking how everyone was. Highly recommend!!

We travel all over the place. We always try to eat at non chain restaurants. Buttermilk Café is one of the best Café we have been to. We had a slight wait about 20 mins. Which is not a bad wait time due to being very busy. Waitress was great. Sorry I didn't get her name. Food was AMAZING!!!! What makes the experience more gratifying is having the owner come to your table and engage in conversation. We will always come back to Buttermilk Café while we are down. Thank you for a great experience. From Tulsa, Ok with love.

It cost our family of 6 $80 to feed us. Drinks are outrageously expensive. Way too expensive, everything tasted good, but was disappointed that the fried okra was not fresh made.
