I love butter, the seafood is amazing, the service is on point and goes above and beyond to make sure you are well taken care of. I love coming here, one of the best nyc restaurants!
Florida Snapper, omg. Skin was perfectly done. Crisp! Wanted to lick my plate. Also heirloom tomato salad , if only I could re-create that whipped feta..... .these are must haves from her menu. Thanks for a memorable dining experience
I had a great dining experience at Butter. The food and the service were great. My husband and I are foodies and great fans of the Food Network. Chef even stopped to take a pic with me at my request because my husband is a big fan of Chef Alex. I plan on visiting again soon! #bonappetit
My girlfriends and I dine at Butter and the food was awesome. The atmosphere was so pleasant. I will definitely be returning if I visit NYC again and if you are in NYC, please dine there.
We went to Butter this evening and after several visits were very disappointed for the first time. We sat at the bar and were ignored for at least 10 minutes. The bartenders never welcomed us or said they would be with us shortly. When they finally acknowledged us they were out of the two bottles of wine we requested and were not very helpful in recommending anything. This was an excellent dining experience from top-to-bottom. I'm not a fan of a NY strip but the one at Butter was succulent with a very savory taste. The ambience is lively and we did not have a problem with the service at all.
Yum. Second time here and was fantastic again. I got the lamb chop and it was perfect. Yay for Chef Alex!
We looked forward to visiting Butter for literally months...we couldn't wait to get to NY and make our reservation. Everything was very good - until we received the steaks. Pitiful. I can make a better NY strip than that. They were fatty, tough to cut and difficult to eat. We took a guest (she and I ordered the NY strips) and I was quite embarrassed that she was unable to even eat her steak. I forced mine down, although in hindsight - I should have sent it back. Everything else was wonderful.
