I have been an extremely satisfied patient of Dr Amadei. He cares about his patients; he is thorough and makes sure I understand his course of treatment. I have seen many doctors in my life, but none has impressed me like "Mike" Amadei. When he asked me to call him "Mike" I knew I had the right doctor! His staff, without exception has always treated me with courtesy and respect. A PLUS!!!
During the visit, she was very positive and saying will help to connect me to the specialist soon. After the that visit, communication collapsed. Her assistant left messages with no context and requested to call back. I called 10 times a day and no answer. Left messages. 3 weeks past and no luck to get the connected back while playing phone tags. She never reviewed my lab results with me.
Referred to Dr. Heilbrunn by my primary care physician. He is a staff specialist for NAH and as such, often gets incoming emergency calls from the ER. Like most specialists, busy, all business and quite professional. He spotted something on EKG my regular doc missed and immediately scheduled a heart cath the next week. They found three partial blockages and probably saved my life by avoiding a serious heart attach. Best Dr. I ever seen! Awesome Doctor!!! My future Wife and I both see him, please never leave!!!!
3 different occasions now where my wife who is a high risk patient has been told to call if situations change, and then gets blown off by Dr Pico and his MA. Each time we put in 4-5 calls over 24-48 hours and multiple promises to “call back right away” or “call back after lunch break” although we never received a call back.
