D. Butman has been treating my wife and I for the past four years. Prior to Dr. Butman I had been treated by two other Cardiologists when I was residing in California. I now feel much better about my care and health than I ever have. Dr. Butman is a kind, considerate, and intelligent doctor. We love his bed side manor which makes it easy for us to talk to him. Some folks might not like his sense of humor and jovial personality but we love him for it.
On Jan. 1st 2015 I had a heart attack and the paramedics took me to the Heart & Vascular Center in Cottonwood, Arizona. At this time Dr. Butman put a stint (2?) in me. By his expertise and great sense of humor, I actually enjoyed the event. I know that that's hard to believe, but he has a way of relaxing you. Of course, at the time, I didn't quite realize the severity of my situation. But it seems that the paramedics, hospital staff and Dr. Butman all saved my life that night. Very impressive.
We just became new patients of Dr. Butman and are very impressed. He is skilled, knowledgeable, interested in us and our needs. We wanted a cardiologist who is willing to listen to our concerns. Dr. Butman does. And there’s an added bonus. He has warmth, kindness and a sense of humor.
Extremely knowledgeable, as well as very personable, plus has expertise doing cardiac catheterization. I absolutely have full confidence in Dr. Butman and his cardiac expertise.
I'm new to Dr Butman having been referred to him by my now retired cardiologist. However, he impresses me as a very knowledgeable and caring Dr. His 'bedside manner' is jovial but straight forward and frank about what's going on, setting me at ease when we're discussing my heart health.
Heart disease runs in my husband's family, and Dr. Butman has taken great care of my husband, who has had 3 heart attacks. His caring manner puts his patients at ease, as my husband does not really like doctors, but, he can joke with Dr. Butman.
Dr. Butman saved my life and I am very grateful to him. He was able to diagnose and get the right medication in the hospital to keep me alive long enough to get me to surgery. He called up to Flagstaff to get a specialist opinion when I was in crisis and nothing was working. This is a great doctor that you want on your side when you need surgery.
Dr. Butman saved my life. He is a great physician. Addresses my personal concerns and conditions. Is always helpful and assures that I have good follow up and the best courses of treatment to fit me. Pleasant demeanor and treats me with respect. 5 stars.
I've been seeing Dr. Butman ever since he put five stents in my heart after I collapsed from a heart attack in 2012. The results were excellent, and I appreciate his positive and upbeat attitude. I've had no trouble making follow-up appointments, and he even returns calls. And it doesn't hurt that he's affiliated with a group of other outstanding cardiologists.
