I didn't give birth at women and infants, however, I had my son 8 weeks early by an emergency c-section so we were transferred to women and infants for the NICU. They were AMAZING in keeping my husband and I updated with our son's care. There was a particular nurse, Barbara, who really was just outstanding on the 4th floor nicu. She made us feel so comfortable and constantly made sure we were in the loop when it came to the baby's care. After I was discharged, they allowed my husband and I to sleep on the pull out couch in t... read more
Just wanted to say thank you for the amazing expirience we had last month! I had my twin boys in there and could not be more pleased with the expirience. From the valet parking to nurses and doctors everything and everyone went beyond my expectations! Such a caring staff and amazing amenities! Happy my boys were born in there!
We had our son here in may and it was a wonderful experience. I was preterm, admitted to the hospital for 2 days before I had my son to be induced. The staff was kind and very attentive in the prenatal unit, also very nice rooms with a private bath! When it was time to go down to the labor & delivery unit we had amazing nurses (Crystal especially) and doctors who kept us updated on the plan and checked in frequently. After delivery we were brought up to 5 east where our nurse Pam saved our baby's life. She noticed that he wa... read more
This is the worst hospital in Rhode Island. My daughter had a c section on Monday. She felt good at first. Then on Wednesday the serve pain started. She pushed the call bell several times. No one came to answer it. After waiting a very long time, someone finally came. My daughter said something is very wrong. The pain is horrible. My daughter stated she felt like she was going to pass out. Two hours later a nurse came in with a pain pill. This didn't help at all. She pushed the call bell again and once again she said there i... read more
I went there to have my baby and was not even seen by a doctor. A very tired student doctor asked me if I was a first timer and immediately sent me home which was 35 minutes away. She told me to come back when I could no longer talk through my contractions. 30 minutes later I was rushed to Landmark Hospital by ambulance because I WAS HAVING A BABY. I wouldn't recommend this hospital to my worst enemy.
My favorite hospital in the whole state!excellent care!!!!
