The name is an ode to the American poet Langston Hughes who started off as a busboy before becoming a famous writer. Busboys and Poets in Hyattsville is their fourth location and it opened its doors in 2011, becoming a popular meeting place for the locals. Went for brunch after church; about 11 total! Waited over an hour for food and it was cold. Had to send much of it back! Our waitress was great! The problem was the kitchen. Not sure what was going on, but not likely to go back any time soon!
