Highly Recomended They are a very good place to go, we switched from New Hartford to here 8 years ago and they have a very high standard. We an have unusual and rare breed of dogs that require special care and they have been very good with them.
Compassionate care directly from the Heart! The staff at Burrstone are unequaled in their ability to love and also professionally care for the pets they serve. Two of four dogs I had were seriously ill and the Burrstone staff never gave up on trying. The first fact is they know what they are doing and when they don't they refer out. Expert, personalized exotics care. I have a pet rat with mammary tumors, and I called vets ALL OVER northern NY trying to find a knowledgeable, reasonably priced vet to do the tumor removal surgery. The exotics vet at Burrstone is wonderful - I had a complicated travel schedule and she was extremely accommodating. My rat even got playtime out of the cage during her overnight stay! Burrstone is also a LOT less expensive than the other 15+ vets I called. I would highly recommend Burrston for exotic care!
Dr. Demson loves Terriers I have Dr. Demson as my vet as she knows, loves and understands the terrier breed. I have two cairn terriers and she is so good with my boys. Any medical problems I have encountered have been addressed to my complete satisfacion.
Compassionate Care I have not taken my pets here but was with a friend who did. She had a dog that was hurt after a run in with another animal. We were all shaken up. The staff took the dog and calmed the animal down, I believe they sedated him. Then they told us to go get washed up and have something to drink. They would bring us up to date shortly. I would NEVER recommend Burrstone Animal Hospital to anyone. The girl working at the reception desk (Nadia) should not have that position very cold absolutely no empathy, rude the list goes on. Do yourself a favor and go to Waterville the amazing receptionist there was welcoming, warm, cared and got my sick dog in for an emergency visit within an hour. Do better Burrstone!
