I have known Doctor Patrick Burns , since about August of 2010, he is one hell of a gentleman and an outstanding doctor, and UPMC is going to be that much smaller for allowing him to get away. Doctor Burns I will truly miss you Mark Tercsak
I was referred by my doctor. After rescheduling 2 appointments I was seen not by Dr Burns but a resident. She proceeded to cut my toe nails then proceeded to remove ingrown nails. The first was excruciating pain to which she showed no empathy or concern for the pain I was in which caused me to lift out of the chair add to that she cut me and still continued without any concern. Dr. Patrick Raymond Burns is a exceptional surgeon. I appreciate Dr. Burns's courage, attention to detail, bedside manner, knowledge, follow up care and just genuinely caring attitude. Dr. Burns nurses and office staff were top notch too. Dr. Burns took on a challenge on my osteoarthritic right ankle that a lot of doctors either didn't know how to do or wouldn't do because of the circumstances. Dr Burns operated twice on my feet and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend him.
Dr. Burns has helped my son twice with partial toe amputations and did wonderful work and follow!wonderful.
