My experience with Endocrine and Thyroid Center and Dr. Burney Basil has been awful from the start. As everyone knows, you need a referral to be seen here and the scheduling availability is extremely limited. Dr. Burney was my doctor for over five years. He is an excellent physician! His attention to detail amazing! My primary physician referred me to him and after the first visit I understood his reasoning! He has great bed side manners and implemented was skilled in the leading practices to address my healthy issues! His knowledge and techniques were AWESOME!
Dr. Basil Burney is an outstanding endocrinologist. When I had my thyroidectomy and lost my parathyroids, he helped to get my levels back up and when the FDA recalled my parathyroid injection, he made sure I had another plan in place to keep me out of the hospital. He also advised me on how to get my diabetes and cholesterol under control. I really appreciate how he would call me directly with results or if I had any issues. I would highly recommend Dr. Burney.

He takes his time explaining medicines and what he wants to achieve with them, as well as conditions his patients have so that he/she can understand how to take care of themselves. His demeanor and attitude is open to his patients, so that he/she can feel comfortable asking questions. Doctor Burney basically saved my life! I was diagnosed with Graves’ disease and he worked with me diligently to get my levels back to where they should be. He is a very nice doctor and I am thankful for him!
Dr. Burney is a thorough, no nonsense doctor. His advice and treatment always comes with a complete and understandable explanation. He will listen and consider my imput on any factor that I think my be an influence on my condition. His staff is friendly and professional. I have never had to wait significantly beyond my appointment time. I have complete confidence is him to address my medical needs.
I have been a patient of Dr. Burney for Over nine years. I was Dr. Burney First patient. When I became his patient I was having high blood sugar within a few months he had me at a normal rate in the blood sugar state check. I give Dr. Berney a five star rating.
He is the best, will listen to you and will not rush through your visit. I am so sad to hear he will leaving Montgomery and moving out of state. He will not easily be replaced.
