Water massage the best Some people like massages others do but do not care for a stranger to massage you, this is the best massage ever for both kind of people. they put small showers on you while you lay down and then turn on the water that changes slowly temperatures, but all warm and intensity. O my gosh it is so relaxing you can sleep in there. love it.
****Completly enjoyed**** My husband and I went together. It was wonderful, he got a 50 minute massage and I received a last minute massage and took advantage of the entire Spa! This was a great day to spend time together, but seperate :) Local to pasadena, parking was not difficult. If you dont know where it is, arrived a bit early to find. Parking lot east of the location off of Lacey($6 max). Not only to find parking but take advantage of the many services the Spa has to offer. We will be back!
Not impressed. Well, I've had better. I can say that I have had better experiences at the smaller day spas. I wasn't impressed with my day here. The facial was just o.k. I went in for the 4 layer resurfacing and just did not think it was all that great. I have had better hand and foot massages at the Aveda School while getting a service. So.. yeah. a bit of a disappointment. I also thought the amenities there were just sort of blah. Started the trend in California for day spas. Totally pamper yourself or someone you love!
Way too crowded - even during the week! I can't understand all of the "world class" reviews - I've tried this place three times, all during the week before 3pm - and each time, there was barely enough sitting room in the waiting area! My treatments were good, the therapists didn't try to talk when I wanted to relax, the sauna and hot pool were nice, but the locker room was pretty packed. I've been to other L.A. spas and even on the weekends, it didn't seem as crowded as this one. Perhaps it's just the small size of the facil... read more
Terrible place I went here the service is terrible, waited an hour an a half before getting service, and ALSO GOT MY FACE destroyed because they are amateurs at eye brow waxing
Sherman Oaks is better!!! I booked 2 massages, both 80 minute sessions for my husband and I last week. I had never been to the Pasadena location and right away I found it to be unkept and full of cranky staff. I was taken away by a non-speaking attendant and given a half-assed "tour" of the ladies locker room. I asked a few basic questions ... "Will my massage therapist come find me in here or should I wait elsewhere?" "Is it better to jacuzzi or sit in the hot sauna before a massage?" She didnt even answer me properly...she... read more
