I wouldn't say the best burger! – I ate at this restaurant on May 21st. If that is the best burger in New York City, I will not be trying a burger anywhere else when I eat there. It was an ok burger, but I would definately not say the best! Also, when you hear that the restaurant has no atmosphere, they were not kidding. Wood paneling walls, writing on the walls, not my cup of tea!
Small but good – I expected the best burger n NY. What I got was a good "homestyle" burger, that tastes just like what I grill up in the summertime on my outdoor grill. It was fresh, it was tasty, and it was very quick. I also like the atmosphere, very traditional for what you would expect in a burger place. My only complaint is that after a burger, fries, and a beer, I was left still hungry.
What A Burger!!What A Price!! – Very relaxed atmosphere for such elegant surroundings. It's like you have found a special hide a way that no one knows about tucked away in the corner of such an upbeat, uptown hotel.
Good Burger, Pretty Fair Price – Burgers, Fries, Shakes, and other drinks: that pretty much sums it up! The menu is very simple, as are the burgers, which are juicy and complement the toasted buns. Best burger in the City – This place KILLS Corner Bistro....anyone that thinks different does not know a good burger....
Worth the Wait! – Fantastic food that's worth the wait. If you call in advance they'll have the order ready for you once you get there. Expect a mix of tourists and locals who know about this hidden treat.
A must visit! – The Burger Joint, tucked away behind a floor-to-ceiling curtain in the lobby of the Le Parker Meridien, in a must-visit for any New York City visitor. The menu is simple (hamburger or cheeseburger? fries? soda or beer?) but the food is incredible and the value is unbeatable. But what's even better is the "I-a-NYC-secret" feeling you know from eating there! If you're going for lunch, arrive early...lunch hour is packed with local businesspeople who flock there.
The BEST – Difficult to find, but this hidden place needs to be left a secret. One's found you will never want to eat anywhere else. The Burgers, The fries and the staff is what makes this place. Down to earth, good food, people and ambiance.. To their staff I say thank You.
