horrible place I've had nothing but unsatisfactory experiences there. The young long haired kid is about the worst of them dumb as a rock and full of crap. He acts like his time is way too important to spare, which makes no sense because I am totally unaware of anything this kid does that warrants such arrogance. Bad Expierence I was in Bullet Stop one evening looking at handguns. A gentleman and his boy came in and were looking beside me. They were talking to Jim Madison, the owner. They didn't know that he had a handgun range on site. They asked what was required to shoot in the range. Jim said it was 10.00 per hour if you buy the gun from him. The kid just got out of the service and bought his gun on base. Jim told him he couldn't shoot there because he didn't buy the gun from him. good service and prices I was looking to pick up my first pistol a while back and I wandered into Bullet Stop. Kind of a hole in the wall but the staff was friendly and answered all of my questions. I had my eye on a gen 4 Glock G22. The guy behind the counter noticed my firefighter ID in my wallet when I went to give him my FOID card and told me I qualified for a law enforcement edition for $200 less than the civilian model. I changed up my purchase without any problems and they were the most helpful staff of any gun shop I... read more
So far good service. I went in there on Sept 12, 2012, pretty much a noob to guns. Tammy showed me a bunch of different guns and answered all my questions - I ended up buying a XD-40 from her before leaving. It was during a sale as well - so I was at the right place at the right time. $70.00 off and a free Springfield t-shirt. I was kinda surprised to see all these negative comments.

Worst place to shop for Guns Moved to this area in 1989, and haven't heard a good word about this crowd since. A friend ordered a new shotgun barrel from them, and after months and no barrel, he went to get his money back. He ONLY got his money by threatening to kick the owners ass, right there and then.
WORST BUSINESS I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH Went with two different people to pick up guns from here and these are my experiences with this shop. Friend 1 has a gun shipped there. When he goes in to pay for the transfer that funny guy in the above picture making the gun decided he wants $35 instead of the usual $15 or he wouldn't do the transfer.
