NO HELP I was IN THE SHOP ON SATURDAY 8/16/08. ONLY TWO CUSTOMERS. I WAITED AND FINALLY IT WAS MY TURN FOR HELP, ONLY TO HAVE ANOTHER CUSTOMER COME IN AFTER ME AND GET WAITED BEFORE ME. I WAS GOING TO PURCHASE A HENRY 22 RIFE BUT WHEN YOU CAN'T GET WAITED ON IT IS TOUGH TO BUY A GUN. I WILL GO ELSEWHERE FORM NOW ON TO BUY MY FIREARMS.
WORST BUSINESS I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH Went with two different people to pick up guns from here and these are my experiences with this shop. Friend 1 has a gun shipped there. When he goes in to pay for the transfer that funny guy in the above picture making the gun decided he wants $35 instead of the usual $15 or he wouldn't do the transfer. Worse Gun Store Nothing good can come of it, Can't even assemble a simple lower receiver for an AR-15. Many better places within the area. Go to the Hunting Hut better
Wide selection of rifles and pistols This place offers a nice deal. You can use their range for free with the purchase of a gun. You can only use that particular gun to on the range or else there is a fee. One thing that struck me as odd, was that I wanted to take a look at a pistol and I handed the employee my FOID card and he said that he didn't need to see it becuase they were on private property. Also, they have most of their shotguns and rifles out in the open for anyone to look at.
not recommended Be very careful doing buisness with these people. I would highly recommend going somewhere else. I tried to do buisness with them and when it didn't work out the way they wanted, they called the police on me. I waited across the street and talked to the police. I was questioned and released by the police. The police told me "I guess you know where not to do buisness". Unless you want to take a chance on this happening to you shop somewhere else!
Problems with the indoor range When you shoot at the Bullet Stop indoor range you could be compromising your health due the lack of proper ventilation. The existing ventilation system is simply inadequate. You are sucking smoke with lead into your lungs. The problem is more pronounced when you are shooting with a partner. Please fix the problem Mr. Jim. This is a legitimate public health concern. Peace out !!!
Worst place to shop for Guns Moved to this area in 1989, and haven't heard a good word about this crowd since. A friend ordered a new shotgun barrel from them, and after months and no barrel, he went to get his money back. He ONLY got his money by threatening to kick the owners ass, right there and then. I never bought anything from them, but did go in a few times to see for myself. They acted like they could care less if I bought anything from them, or not, so I didn't.
Nothing but the worst for them. Have no use for their business practices. They claim to know guns,BUTT they cant recognise a counterfit rifle serial number. The BATFE is aware of this. Its been since 6/2004 but I still have bad thoughts about their professionalism. BOOO on you Loves Park Ill. P.S....I still have ALL the pictures and correspondents between us and all the others I notified. I.E.... USPS, FBI Internet fraud, Attorney Generals of Illinois AND new york. HAVE A GREAT DAY...5/4/10
