We were in town for a funeral and decided to stop in for a quick bite. The sweet corn chowder was absolutely incredible — truly a perfect 10! Even though we live 52 minutes away, we’re already tempted to make the drive back just for that soup. The staff were great as well! Steve & Robin Albany, NY

Desert apple crisp was horrible ...hardly any apples, crush was horrible and impossible to cut
Would not recommend for catering. Very poor communication And very unprofessional. They gave us information on the catering, excepted our date of our event and then While we were waiting for a confirmation that they were going to Do our event, they emailed us that they accepted a deposit from another Couple . Apparently, our event wasn’t feasible for them. Other words they would make more money off of another couple who obviously came after our request . Very unprofessional.
We came here on a Saturday night and had dinner in the cellar. It was a little musty, but is was very interesting and that made up for it. The entertainment was excellent. I ordered one of my very favorites that is very hard to find, Chicken Cordon Bleu. It was good, but they used solid chicken breast without pounding it out which makes it a little tough.
