We were able to easily make a reservation. We were seated in the pub in the basement area. The atmosphere was nice. Enjoyed the 19th century architecture and antiques/decorations. The food and drink choices were really good. Everyone in our party enjoyed what they ordered. The service was good and timely during the meal. It was afterwards that was not a good experience. Everything was great! Over the top was the building and it's history. Really nice job preserving it all.
Usually before coming to restaurants, I am sure to always check the reviews and always see what everyone says about certain places around where I was searching. Seeing the 4.5 stars that Bull's Head Inn had I was expecting a good dining experience with good food and service, but it was not all that. The surroundings and restaurant itself was very beautiful and charming and the servers were very polite and informing, but service was VERY slow, with food taking up to a half hour to come with little to no patrons in the dining ... read more
Adding a revision...As a one time local I should have remembered that there is some parking in the back at a lower level. There is a door that leads to a lower level of the Bull's Head. It leads to a cool cellar with another bar and seating to eat there also. It feels even more like a revolutionary bar and eatery.
