Expensive and it is what it is. Been coming here all my life and I’ve got good things to say about everything.
Friday is prime rib night. Service is outstanding.
We ate here while visiting Howes Cavern and I must say the atmosphere was great. It's like walking back in time. The service was nice and the food was okay. My husband ordered the ribeye, a beautiful piece of meat but I felt it was lacking flavor, a simple herb butter would have done the trick; although it was cooked perfectly! I got the special, the seafood trio, and the remoulade used on that crab cake was AMAZING!!!
First time visiting from out of town. We ordered Oysters Rockefeller. It was cream of spinach in an oyster shell. Out of the 6, only 3 had an actual oyster piece in them. The seafood chowder was amazing. Our entrees ordered were the catch of the day, which was a lemon pepper snapper, and prime rib and scallops. We waited 1 hour for our entrees to be brought out.
