I have lived in the Durango area all my life. I’ve dealt with many bad mechanics that can’t even tell you what it’s going to cost to fix a problem. I do most of my own mechanic work unless I am too busy or don’t have the experience to tackle the harder stuff. These guys are pros. They will give you an estimate and tell you when it will be done. My experiences at Built to Last have made me a lifetime customer. They have done excellent work, followed up to make sure I was happy after I drove away, and have been extremely honest.
Great service and fair prices! I've been there a number of times picking up my brother-in-law as he had repairs done on his Expedition and older F250, both of which they've done excellent work on. My turn this time--ABS and traction control lights on after a couple of days off-roading in my Wrangler. They quickly found the problem--a crushed brake system connector where it had been routed over a bump-stop--replaced it and rewired, ready for me the next day. They get a strong recommendation from me!
Our car was towed Wed, 5/23/18, after closing, we spoke to Lu first thing Thurs, we got our car back that afternoon! We were able to make it back to work Monday in St Pete, FL. Thank you Lu and crew. TR
Jeff went above and beyond to salvage our trip and saved us from extensive motor damage! Our stupid '06 Ford 6.0 F250 Super Duty #8 injector failed 20 miles outside Durango on Friday afternoon towing our fifth wheel up for a holiday weekend.
