Located in Clyde, North Carolina, our property is a quick drive from Asheville (25 miles) - Maggie Valley and Waynesville are only 12 miles away. This is the Smoky Mountains at its best. We are open year round, our cabins & cabooses are pet friendly and they all have wifi. Not only do we offer luxury log cabin rentals we also host romantic wedding parties, school field trips & weekend getaways on our property as well.

My family of 5 had a wonderful week staying in the Bison Overlook Lodge. Wonderful place for family time. Great views. Sat on the back deck in the evening watching the buffalo graze. The kids loved exploring the property and hanging out with the animals. We enjoyed several day trips to see waterfalls as well as a fun day in Asheville. Highly recommend!
Our family enjoyed our stay at the Bison Overlook! We had every meal sitting in the back porch taking in the gorgeous view and watching the buffalo roam! Our girls loved having the animals right in their backyard! The hot tub and fire flies made the evenings a favorite time of ours! We cannot wait until our next stay! — with Katie Beth Endicott.
The cabin was cute and big enough for all 9 of us. It had all the cookware we needed. The kids enjoyed the games and hot tub. The driveway was a bit scary at first because we were spinning tires haha. My husband got the hang of it after a couple times. We enjoyed seeing the animals, the kids loved making the turkey gobble. I would recommend it to anyone.

We had my daughters 8th birthday party at the Caboose. It was so easy and fun! The pony rides and face painting were favorites of the party guests. My daughter said it was her best party yet. Thanks so much!
Authentic working farm, authentic mountain vacation get-away combined and it works!Trails and outdoor activities on-property. Fantastic experience. Highly recommended. High quality, high end, but not “fancy”.
We loved having this beautiful cabin for my Husbands 65 th BD celebration. There was plenty of room for our party of 10. The Farm and Trails were a lot of Fun. The mountain backdrops were beautiful.
There is so much to do that anyone at any age is going to be in love! The staff were wonderful and made our Birthday boy feel extra special!
