Bueno Autumn green Chile blend....this is the stuff. I even took a pic. The recipe worked great and the house smelled like September in Albuquerque, which was heaven because I lived near a vegetable stand with a roaster. I read on your site that there are fewer green chile farms in New Mexico which is sad. I’ll share this recipe with my FB friends. The chiles pictured I grew, two from Big Jim seeds and they had no heat maybe because I’m in California. I can get the tubs, though, and the red chile is good too.
I use Baca frozen chiles for my tamales for 35 yrs now.
The Green Chile “Hot” is my favorite, it’s really good and is probably one of the spiciest I’ve tried, don’t get me wrong if it was a little hotter I wouldn’t be mad. Haven’t found better green Chile yet. I haven’t found it here where I live so I need to order it somehow. I ordered some other kind in a jar from Amazon and I was not impressed at all. I need my bueno foods Green Chile..please!!
Good Morning there, some of us New Mexicans moved to a different location, is there a way we can order online and be sent to, we sure do miss Bueno for posole.
The best packaged corn tortillas I have EVER eaten - will not buy anything else!
I purchased a13 oz plastic tub of Hatch Green Roasted Chile. when I thawed it out, it became obvious that the water content was much higher than the green Chile content. I paid around $5 or $6 dollars for the tub and the actual Chile amount was equal to one of those dinky $1.40 cans. I felt ripped off. To top buying a container of water mostly - the actual Chile was full of inedible stems and a bunch of skins. I will NEVER buy it again. I get more Chile with a $1.40 can. NEGATIVE STARS.
Machinery that handles the green chile outputs stems, skins, and chunky bits we don't like.
Best red chile puree always used it for making Tamales in AZ .. but cant buy it here in Kansas
I bought a tub of frozen green chili and half of it was peeling and stems,, that makes eating very unpleasant !!!
