Visit San Fran once a year. It's a tradition to go for Irish Coffees. Yummmm!
My husband and I love BV!! We consider ourselves regulars because this is the only place we go to for breakfast in SF. We've been going here for 30 years! Their breakfast is great and their Irish coffee is to die for. My husband tried Irish coffee all over in the city and promises that the BV is the best!!!! The bartenders came to know my husband because he is the only customer that orders brandy and orange juice. Every time we go there, my hubby orders that, and they know right away we're there. This s the only place to order an Irish Coffee. And to meet new, interesting people. A must stop in San Francisco.
Loved the Irish coffee but service could not have been worse! Took OOT guests as it's iconic SF. Sat for 25 mins before anyone came over. Waitress took our order; soup came out 20 mins later, 3 of 5 of our meals 3 mins after that�. 4th meal didn't come for another 20 mins. CRAZY BAD SERVICE!
My daughters mother-in -law suggested it. Had a great time , best service ever!!
Anytime my wife and I go to the city we stop in for a few Irish coffees service is great always crowded but don't let that stop you the best Irish coffee in the city
SF Bar down by the Waterfront serve awesome breakfast lunch and also their world famous Irish coffees and old fashioned cocktails As Good As It Gets in SF :)

As a native San Francicain, I finally made it to The Buena Vista. What a wonderful experience ! Wished I had gone there sooner. The best Irish coffee drink ever! Can't have it anywhere else!
