Rented a Ford F150 in brand new condition, took it to Cape Breton and had an amazing holiday. Thanks to Karan and his team.
Terrible customer servive. Never been to a budget with worse customer service. The rep at store was very visibly agitated at simple requests to send receipts by email, and even hung up the phone when I asked him to confirm the email. Very rude over the phone. When I called again and asked why he hung up, he continued being angry and asked said if I were to wait 5 minutes I would have received the email. As if that makes it ok to hang up on customers. Our experience at this location was very good. Our car had issues and we brought it to Gurpreet, who quickly got us a new one and back on the road He was friendly, and efficient.
Avoid Renting from This Agency I strongly advise against renting a car from AVIS/Budget, particularly the Lacewood Drive location. Despite clearly stating at pickup that I did not want additional insurance, I was charged for damage coverage without my consent. This charge was added in a misleading and underhanded way, and I only discovered it after the rental was returned.
