The absolute WORST experience I have ever had with a car rental company. First they tell me they didn’t have any cars except one, despite me having a reservation. And the car they gave me was literally falling apart. Stuff was falling out of the dash BEHIND the gas and break pedals to the point they would be almost inoperable. They would “fix” it and tell me it would be fine but would fall out behind the pedals within minutes - THREE TIMES. We rented a car at 10:43 on 3-5-25, Conf# 19317473USO, and payment of $98.16 was charged to our card. Upon arrival around 4:30 p.m. we were told there were no cars available. Meanwhile 2 other gentleman after we arrived and were told there were no cars available were rented cars, we witnessed this, while waiting!!! We will NEVER use Budget, ever. If you have ever seen the Seinfeld episode with the car rental, that is exactly what happened to us today at the counter. No car for our reservation. The lady couldn't have cared less that was behind the counter. Never again, and apparently it happens all the time.
