Misdiagnosed problem and did work that wasn’t necessary- claimed they weren’t charging for repairs that were not needed. Got another quote from another Chevy dealership that was $500.00 less. I guess that’s one way to recover the cost when you don’t do it right the first time. Thanks! Update: Paid $2000 for repairs and within a week my car started doing the same thing again. They will not back any preowned vehicle they sell. I owned mine less than 2 years, put 19,000 miles on it. In that time had spent well over $1,000 in mechanical repairs, some of which they performed. Then it jumps the timing chain, which is cheaper to replace the motor. Spoke to a mechanic there and he says they see it a lot with my motor. There was a recall on it, but even after the vehicles were brought back and fixed under the recall, they would still have the same problem. We drove to Beloit after wasting our time at one of the big Chevrolet dealerships in Rockford. Cole was great and made it so easy for us to choose our new vehicle. Well worth our drive for the great service!
