Buck is very knowledgeable about wood stoves; he has sold them for many years. Unlike many places that sell hot tubs and wood stoves on the side, Buck is 100% stoves. I live on the west side and it was definitely worth the drive.

Buck is the best – Buck is a great character with impressive knowledge about how to to get you what you want. He is clearly dedicated to his customers and committed to doing great work. I sure appreciated all he did for us and how professional the whole experience was.

Beware read all the reviews – I called Buck about replacing my gas fireplace with a pellet stove. He said send pictures of the installation and the roof vents. I did a few days later. He said he would review and call me back. He never called. I called 3 times and each time was given a different excuse. the last time I actually spoke with Buck and he said he was in the middle of something and would call back. He never did. Knowledgeable but not worth it – Buck definitely knows his stuff but I think that he's at a point where he either doesn't care anymore or he's forgetting things. He came to our house on 2 different occasions and then gave us our quote. We paid the bill and then he assured me the install would be done on a certain day/time. The installers were great and very friendly but Buck had ordered the wrong parts for them, given them the wrong address, and told them to get a permit for us (when I had clearly specified to Buck that I wo... read more

Worth The Buck – The best tool/piece of equipment is the Hearthstone wood stove we bought from Buck. Over the course of several weeks, he gave us hours of his time visiting our home over & over again to help us get the right fit & stove. He is incredibly knowledgeable, affable, sincere, and very funny. He made plunking down 3 grand a damn near exquisite experience that I would recommend to anyone. If you want to educate yourself & Enjoy the experience of possibly purchasing a woodstove, Buck is the man to see.

Nice Fireplace! – Although when we went to purchase the fireplace, we had to wait and there was a misunderstanding about the delivery, the final product and help at the end of the transaction was exceptionally good. Jacob spent several hours tuning up the fireplace, and it is absolutely beautiful. I think if you go to Buck's you will be happy with the end result.

Go to Lisac's – We tried to buy a stove and pipe from Buck. When we went in to Buck's Stove Palace we talked to his staff, who were very friendly. Buck himself assured us that he would be right with us. When we finally got to talk to Buck (after waiting over 30 minutes) we were appalled by the way he talked to his helpers, belittling them in front of us. An excellent resource for all things stoves – I've been to Bucks many times seeking answers to how the heck all the pipes and installations and parts to stoves and chimneys all work together. Buck will give you his time to first ask several questions so he understands what you need. Then he has an awesome way of explaining it so I can understand.
