A vanishing but not vanished piece of REAL Portland this is SO HARD TO FIND but is here if you ARE LUCKY and patient. You might even get schooled in being a human being by Buck himself. A broken stove glass, A trip to Bucks Stove Palace in Portland. You are not accosted by sales people. That's good, because if it's your first time there's alot to see, plan on an hour. We have live in Estacada and every time the wind blows it seems to knock out power at least for a little bit which made us concerned for our snakes and ourselves. If the power goes out in the middle of a snow storm we would all freeze, even with camping gear we can't keep 10 or more snakes, salamanders, spiders, guinea pigs, a rabbit, dog and the humans warm. es, everything people say about Buck is true. You don't want to be in a hurry when you are dealing with Buck. But even as time is money, it's worth it. Go to Buck's Stove Palace if you have a few hours to burn, you are up to listening to a few stories and want the best fit in a wood stove possible. Buck is the walking encyclopedia of wood stoves and there isn't a question he doesn't know the answer to...and I mean the honest to goodness real answer. Buck's is a Portland original. I needed parts for a wood cook stove for our cabin on Hood- Not an easy thing to find. Buck spent an hour with us, getting the right parts for the decayed stove pipes we were replacing. Really appreciated his knowledge and expertise as well as the other members of his team. This places could definitely be featured on an episode of Portlandia. Also, a very cool showroom.

If your looking for a Stove, Bucks is the place to go! Especially if you plan on installing it yourself. He will help plan everything out with you and work with you to get the right parts. I would recommend Bucks to any of my friends and family and know that they will be well taken care of.

Buck is the best! – we recently added a covered area in our backyard and wanted to put in a wood stove that would act as a gathering spot for guests. The selection of old stoves at Bucks was incredible, and gave us exactly what we were looking for. Buck was helpful, excited about our project, dealt with us fairly and honestly, and his crews were on time and professional. Thanks Buck, we love our wood stove! Couldn't have done it without you!

Incrediblely Giving (Advice/Extra parts) – I couldn't be helped any better than by these guys. I bought a stove for the cheap from some other dealer but I will never do it again because I felt so guily so sucking them dry for help. I bought the sleeve from them but they exceed what they had too. Buck gave me his own tools and told me to return them 3 days later. NO deposit no nothing just trusted me to return what was his once the job was done, I needed one tool too finish the job and that TOOL is Buck. WOW they are the best
