About this business

This establishment holds the oldest liquor license in the state, and it has been in operation for more than a century. I have been to the Buckhorn Exchange several times. There’s no place like it! It’s like a living museum of the history of the Old West and America itself. Be sure to get the rattlesnake dip and fried alligator tail. So many photo opportunities for the budding or professional photographer and one of the only places that you get elk, Buffalo, quail, and rattlesnake. If you live in or are visiting Denver, it should be at the top of your list of places to go!
