Classic, old-school place with a fantastic menu if you like gator tail appetizer and elk, bison and other type dinners. Loved it. Food cooked perfectly & service was perfect.
On vacation here from Columbia, SC, this was one of our spots we wanted to visit and dine at. Sure glad we did. Great environment, great food, and great service...gotta have reservations, though. Prices were much less than expected and a variety of food choices.
Fabulous meal, awesome setting, and our server Joanne was friendly and full of information! Definitely going to be back.

Great place full of history and excellent food.
I go here every time I come to Denver, I love the atmosphere and the ‘lounge ‘ upstairs. Have only had their appetizers that were good. The history is what brings me here for a couple of cocktails while sitting in their lounge. Went to San Antonio and the have the buckhorn exchange there also, not affiliated with this one, but had to go because of having the same name. Definitely stop here to take a step back in time while your having a cold one.
