State Farms Insurances is one of the worst insurances companies out in the market. I submitted a claim on January 27, 2017 against one of their policy holders and as of today, March 11, 2017 they have provide me with four different settlements of total loss because they have made "mistakes" on all of the calculations. Every time I try to accept an offer they come up with a different lower settlement offer because they "forgot to include some," and when I try to question their numbers they don't have a clue how they got it. Since 2005, State Farm has insured 2 homes, all of my vehicles, business insurance and life insurance. Joseph Query is the agent. In the fall of 2016, I added 3 more vehicles to the Policy as well as Business liability for the contracting business I recently purchased. I told my agent representative I needed to be insured for at least $10,000 of new equipment. I was told I would be covered via the policies and not to worry. I am not one of those people that try to bilk insurance companies with frivolous claims and I hadn't filed a claim in many years. In the summer of 2016, a semi threw a rock and cracked my windshield. I called my State Farm agent and was told that even though I had comprehensive and collision coverage, the windshield wasn't covered. Comprehensive covers glass breakage so why wasn't I covered? TO WHOM IT MAY CONCEN If you are having or considering STATE FARM Insurance you may want to read this: On July 5, 2016 while riding my bike on bike path along major street I was hit by a car violently, entering the main street from a gas station exit while I was crossing the entrance cautiously. I was with State Farm since 2007 and finally decided to end my relationship due to the increasing rise of my insurance (no tickets or accidents, and over 35). I recently moved and my insurance went up $60. I contact another company and received a much cheaper quote and with a cheaper deductible for collision. I faxed and emailed Statefarm a cancellation letter for all my policies (life, auto, renters)with the company. I listed each policy number on the form.
