The only people that eat here are straight off a cruise ship and don't know any better. McDonald's trash can is better than this place. If you're going to eat here, save yourself the money and buy Walmart brand fish sticks. Your stomach will thank you.
My sister and I came down for the weekend. The table of 4 that ordered after us got their food before us. The food was not impressive at all. Definitely not worth the money I spent!!!!! Just a tourist attraction with high prices! Would never go back. The reason I gave it a 3 was bc of the waiter. He was pleasant and I like that they do the trivia game with you. Never had that happen anywhere else. But as far as food and wait times.... hands down never going back.
Not impressed. Came down for the day with family to enjoy the market and beach. Stopped by for a quick lunch. The service was sub par, never received my drink order, and our second order of drinks didn't come until after the check! The food was not good for the price either, very under seasoned and bland. Our bill was close to 200$ and none of us liked our food. Very disappointed!
We had a great lunch and a fun time we will definitely go back
The food was delicious and our server Chico was awesome! He made sure our first time was a GREAT experience. We will definitely be back AGAIN to eat!
I can't visit Charleston without stopping here. My absolute favorite restaurant in Charleston. The waiter played Forest trivia with the three surrounding tables and it was so much fun!
Anyone who loved Forrest like I do will love visiting Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Loved the decor, the food was delicious, service was excellent. Looking forward to my next trip to Charleston to stop in again. Although I would really love it if Bubba Gump found its way to our hometown of Williamsburg, VA. As I am sure the locals and tourist would too. (Hint Hint Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.)
I loved it here! I had never watched Forrest Gump (a sin, I know), so I had no idea the restaurant was based off the movie. My boyfriend and I went in there on a whim and it was amazing. The service was great. I normally get terrible service, but our server, Blake, was the best. We left full and happy and I hated that we were only in Charleston for the day because I wanted to go back!
Run Forest Run. That's exactly what you should do past this place. Not one friendly face, inattentive servers, overpriced pre prepared food.
