Disappointing and overpriced. We drove down to Charleston for the day during our Myrtle Beach vacation. We ordered the hush puppies for an appetizer, a salad, stuffed shrimp and the fish and shrimp platter with fries. The hush puppies were good. My stuffed shrimp was soggy and too fishy. Mashed potatoes had no flavor. My husband's fried fish and shrimp was a very small portion for the price. Some of the best service we have ever had at a restaurant . Food was delicious as well.
The only thing good about this place was the memorabilia so disappointing

I will start this off by saying that I don't typically write reviews, let alone negative ones, this is the exception to that rule. Myself and my wife visited this establishment on August 19. In short, not only was the food overpriced (and I'll be frank, not good), but my wife began to suffer an allergic reaction. As she has no existing allergies to fish, and or shrimp we asked the staff if they handled the food with latex gloves prior to serving, the waitress went to confirm, and yes they do. My first time there, I understood the wait but was very disappointed in the entry I ordered. I ordered the seafood platter, was expecting pieces of fish instead I got strips of fish. My friends dishes were true to menu. The food tasted great, Tee our waiter was great! Whoot Whoot! I have always wanted to go to the restaurant, so glad I was able to go while at the Low Country Jazz Festival, which was awesome by the way!
It was just a long; long; long wait to get the food brought it. ???? More chefs needed????
