It was delish!! The grilled shrimp rice was amazing as well as the large slice of key lime pie!!! We will be back the next time we are in Charleston SC!
Just don't go. Very disappointing. Fried shrimp was hard as a rock, fries were cold and chewy. Sent it back, came out worse the second time. Rice had no flavor. Stuffed shrimp was ok, but I could see the shrimp hadn't been cleaned.

Menu changes from a few years ago Not a favorite now
We were seated and our waiter, Jacob (with a ponytail), came right over. The kids had burgers that they loved, my wife had the Shrimp New Orleans, and I had the Forrest's Seafood Feast. The food was great and the service was even better. Jacob really went the distance to ensure we were taken care of. This was our first trip to Charleston and you can count on it that we'll dine here when we visit again.
I brought a group of 39 third graders and 19 adults for a field trip. All went well until we showed up here. Being 5 minutes late getting to the restaurant you’d think the food would be waiting. No. We were told we showed up 15 minutes late (which isnt true). The attitude was snarky and excuses were being made left and right.
