Informed at arrival it was a 45min wait.. but could sit at the bar.. So my wife an i complied.. I needed to use the restroom an was informed it was upstairs.. so i went it was nearly 100plus seats available.. since we'd already ordered an since i drove 9hrs to go to this famous restaurant i didn't mention it, but discussed it with my wife only... Had a great visit with family. Really enjoyed the gumbo.
Excellent food and employee's are extremely nice!!! Will definitely go back when we go back to New Orleans !!!
We waited about an hour which is expected. My boyfriend wanted stuffed shrimp and we were not told till he ordered it that there was none! Once the server got our food order my kids food came out first(which was fine with me). The part that wasn’t ok is that my kids were finished with their food before me and my boyfriend got ours. He also ordered a beer that was as flat as a beer could be. Kinda mad I wasted $80 for service and food that wasn’t that great. I don’t think we will come back.
