Very warm, kind and knowledgeable. Helped me out of a severe depression with excellent medication management. I am very pleased with his care. He is attentive and present, which is rare in psychiatry these days.

I was in Riverwoods from 5/1-5/16/2018. I came in from Emory without a provisional diagnosis; rather, I had a definitive diagnosis of schizophrenia. Three weeks later, Dr. Evans still had a dx of schizophrenia. I begged him & his A.P.R.N. asst to contact my V.A. Pschiatrist in Hilo, HI but they never did. I've seen plenty of psychiatrists, but never one that I liked as much as Dr. Evans. I'm glad I could find a psychiatrist that I like so much, so close to my work.
Dr. Evans was competent, thorough, and seemed genuinely concerned about my welfare. He did everything he could to keep the price of my consult as low as possible. I couldn't have asked for a better first visit.
Very compassionate and astute. Present and thoughtful. I felt truly seen and understood.
