After a couple days I decided to write another review this place is extremely horrible! I’m only putting one star this time because I have to.My 15-year-old daughter has been there for two weeks after being involuntarily committed and was put on medication which nothing seems to be helping everything is the same as when she got there. She has been telling me horror stories about another girl there who apparently is a lesbian and I believe was trying to force her self on my daughter. My daughter was left in a room crying on t... read more
Our daughter was taken there after leaving Carolina East. She is still there now and has been for almost two weeks. We have been keep in the dark about how she is doing. Not once have we spoke with a doctor. Unacceptable. They say that patients can call whenever they want between certain times which is a lie because my daughter has been lied to and refused to let her call. Every time she calls there is yelling and screaming and you can hardly hear. I feel horrible that my daughter has had to experience this. She said there i... read more
This place nearly let me die. Okay so I had a medically induced psychosis as a result of an adrenal crisis. Purely medical, and not caught by the MDs at the first hospital - so I get sent to Brynn Marr. I nearly died. I have Adrenal Insufficiency (hypocortisolism) and am 100% corticosteroid dependent. I told them I needed my steroids; they accused me of "faking" while other patients were genuinely concerned I was going to die because of how sick I looked. They literally wrote "hypochondriac" in my chart...OVER A MEDICAL ... read more
Worst medical Facility ever. I took my son to get treatment he needed and put my trust in them. They did not communicate and the nurses in the ward would hang the phone up on me. The clerks were very helpful and even apologized to me for the RNs hanging up the phone me. Terreka was my sons health care coordinator and was horrible. We didn't even know what the plan was for my son and trying to get ahold of her took days. I will never use this facility or recommend it to any parents of young kids.
DO NOT go here VOLUNTARILY!!! This place is nothing but a JAIL! Once a week visits for only 20 minutes. No REAL mental health care.
This ineptness of this facility is beyond anything I have seen! The facility, staff and lack of treatment was incredibly disappointing but nothing compared to their billing department. Wrong n all occassions and simply asked that they send me a bill....that simple but too big of a task for this subpar hospital. I know know why they got the low ratings!
