My son was recently at Brynn Marr Hospital and this is a horrible place. He was sent there after going to the ER for a manic attack. The communication with the staff is awful and you have no idea what is going on. It is more like a prison than a place to get help. They just drug you up so they don't have to deal with you. I was 3 hours away from him and drove to see him 3 times for 20 minutes and each time I requested to see his clinician and she was always not available. If you have a choice please do not send your lov... read more

REVIEW ABOUT THE RESIDENTIAL PART OF BRYNN MARR 3MONTH + STAY i got released from here a few months ago. this place is bullshit, the residential absolutely sucks. and ms tamiko makes you feel like you’re walking on egg shells every time you come in contact with her. this place is not therapeutic. clearly kids are in there to feel better, and come out being a better person, but i wouldn’t be surprised if that doesn’t turn out that way for others as well. my therapist was a huge trigger for me. she made me feel very awkward. i... read more

I spent 10 days at Brynn Marr Hospital at the beginning of February 2021. There were some staff that were nice there but most of them weren’t very friendly. A few staff were actually quite mean, and one in particular would favor certain patients and treat them differently. A few of the staff would yell and not care that their yelling could trigger some of the patients. In addition to that, it was not very clean. My first day at Brynn Marr I found a dirty washcloth and a few shampoo cups in the shower, and they were ther... read more

So, my name is Demetri I was once a patient at Brynn Marr Hospital I've been there multiple times, during the recent visit I met some very mean staff who rolled their eyes at me and made faces at me, my first few times being admitted to Brynn Marr Hospital there were lots of people who were nicer than some of the staff or MHT's who are working there now. Some of the MHT's were really traumatizing because they were really loud and mean, but to get to the point, I was treated poorly, and here's why, when I asked for something ... read more

After a couple days I decided to write another review this place is extremely horrible! I’m only putting one star this time because I have to.My 15-year-old daughter has been there for two weeks after being involuntarily committed and was put on medication which nothing seems to be helping everything is the same as when she got there. She has been telling me horror stories about another girl there who apparently is a lesbian and I believe was trying to force her self on my daughter. My daughter was left in a room crying on t... read more

Our daughter was taken there after leaving Carolina East. She is still there now and has been for almost two weeks. We have been keep in the dark about how she is doing. Not once have we spoke with a doctor. Unacceptable. They say that patients can call whenever they want between certain times which is a lie because my daughter has been lied to and refused to let her call. Every time she calls there is yelling and screaming and you can hardly hear. I feel horrible that my daughter has had to experience this. She said there i... read more

This place nearly let me die. Okay so I had a medically induced psychosis as a result of an adrenal crisis. Purely medical, and not caught by the MDs at the first hospital - so I get sent to Brynn Marr. I nearly died. I have Adrenal Insufficiency (hypocortisolism) and am 100% corticosteroid dependent. I told them I needed my steroids; they accused me of "faking" while other patients were genuinely concerned I was going to die because of how sick I looked. They literally wrote "hypochondriac" in my chart...OVER A MEDICAL ... read more
