Love love love this place. Was a little disappointed the last time I was there in the mashed potatoes. Tasted like instant. And the "roast beef" was pot roast, not steamship round. Love the veggies and the salads and stop there whenever I am in the city.
My happy place!! First time I ate there was in 1965. Every time I go to Texarkana I eat there. After many years, I convinced my husband that it was much better than steak house. Now it's his favorite, also. We recently took our 6 year old great granddaughter with us, she said it was good...but too many old people! Lol
I'm Kicking myself for NOT stopping here before when traveling thru! As good as Grandma's!
