The food was good and home made like. We really liked the fish (talopis) and fried fish. My sister got roast beef which was kind of tough to chew. We ended up giving her some of our fish. The pies are simply delicious. The place is clean and friendly.
Great cafeteria, a lunch must in Texarkana. Soul food at its finest. Collard greens and deviled crab, oh my.
Why did the health department shut you down and are you now open
We had heard Bryce's Cafeteria was a good place to eat, but we were disappointed. The food was barely acceptable, the prices were high, and the workers were not friendly at all.

We were traveling thru last year found the place . It was great then and great again this year. Can't wait to come back thru and stop there again. The owner came by and visited with us a little, the staff were absolutely wonderful!!! Everyone this place is worth your while to stop and eat.
