Such a disappointment. Received an email 3 days ago that doesn’t expire until 10/7. They would not honor it. This happens EVERY SINGLE TIME! They lure and not honor. Just wrong. This isn’t how you earn customer loyalty in an area with an abundance of ice cream shops. Also, their website offers a deal when it’s raining, they don’t honor that either. We were told they don’t do that any more.
this is literally the BEST ice cream in the entire state. Consider yourself lucky if there is one near you! Marble Slab and Cold Stone WISH they could even be compared. Great prices, great toppings, great recipes, endless combinations, and simply great ice cream!
As always, the ice cream at Bruster's in New Tampa was delicious. However, one important thing had changed. Previously, they would give you an extra scoop of ice cream if it was raining during your visit. After all, it's a walk-up window, and any customer will get wet while ordering a treat. As a long-time fan of Bruster's, I thought I'd treat myself. Nothing like a 32 oz handmade banana shake on a hot FL day. . Now...it cost $5.89 + tax. Yeah, pricey, I know. BUT... when it comes to shakes, I don't count pennies or skimp on quality. So, the first thing I noticed... the staff looks different. Not the faces I remember. Okay, people move on, no big deal. Asked for 2 scoops. Server mixed both flavors together and 2 scoops looked more like a mushy 1 scooper. Ice cream was ok but very expensive for what you get
