My mother has breast cancer. It is scary. It is unknown territory. Doctors that do this everyday maybe callous to The fear of this over the years. I can tell you my mom left his office in tears and a mess hours later. He was rude. Cocky. Cold. Rough. And honestly lives up to his last name. I’m guessing he has been doing this for too many years because he’s forgotten that his patients care and well being should come first.
I had such a great experience. Dr Weiner explained everything that was going to happen, kept my significant other updated while I was in surgery, and just made sure he was available if I needed anything. His staff was just amazing. They helped easy my mind. I had to have surgery two times and each time I did not worry a single bit since Dr Weiner explained everything.
Our appointment is not until April, due to my daughter returning to college in another state. However, the Doctor reviewed her information and had someone contact me regarding her report to put our minds at ease as to what it said. This was something that they did not have to do. They could have just told us sorry we can't get her in this week and moved on to the next patient. I am grateful for the peace of mind that they provided by doing this.

Excellent Doctor and Staff .. One Call and they called back in les than 10 minutes and that was on a Thursday they had me In that Monday at 6:30 AM Had all new test run that day at 1:00 pm. Actually go to speak to the Radiologist in PERSON . Then saw DR. Weiner that Wednesday to go over all the tests results from Phoenixville Hospital and Einstein. Excellent.
It's been years since I encountered such an off-putting medical professional. Without so much as a 'good morning', his clipped, pointed questions during my exam telegraphed surprising arrogance. His response to my question about follow-up imaging options was 'whatever floats your boat', and he chided me repeatedly to 'be sure and call here for your results', as if to say he had no intention of making any effort to contact me. Patients are entitled to far more respect.
