Hospital is clean and staff very attentative. However i noticed when visiting my friend whos getting cancer treatment. I feel there were a.lot of staff who are from UM interns getting trained. Being a govt run institution where your treatment is 100 percent free what do you expect? Walter reed.

I have serious concerns about the Bruce W. Carter VA Medical Center’s affiliation with the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. In my view, Miller’s academic and professional standards are not strong enough for an institution serving veterans, and the partnership reflects poorly on the VA. Veterans deserve care and training environments built on rigor, accountability, competence, and integrity. The care and attention I receive at this VA center is second to none. Great staff from the cook in the Cafe to my PCP and everybody in-between. The entire hospital staff should be classified top notch. Thanks to you all. You all are the best. See you tomorrow.
