I went to Bruce Hanley for 2 cavities. He did such a poor job on both these - one of them he kept it so high that i was in pain for days due to a poor bite. I went back to him - it would have been a simple procedure to file it down but he insisted that was not needed. The second one, the filling came off and when I went again, it had become so sensitive - he did the root canal. My mistake that I didnt go to an endodontist. I have been going to Dr. Hanley for well over a decade. My entire family, including toddlers, see him. The kids have no stress and they actually really enjoy the dentist. He has televisions in the room and they can watch cartoons and the staff are all really kind and gentle. I have one VERY nervous child, and she had no problems. I have major dentist anxiety, Dr. Hanley put me at ease from the start. His staff is tremendously skilled and friendly and knows us by name. My husband and I enjoy going in- if you can believe that! Dr. Hanley is the best dentist I have ever been to, he's got great chairside manner, the equipment is first rate: it's the most up to date, technologically advanced office I have ever been seen in. He can pull your records and treatment plans up instantly. It's a great office.
Dr. Hanley took care of our whole family. He has a very nice bedside manner and is very competent and caring. The office and staff are pleasant to deal with.
He did such a bad job with my extraction, root canal and bridge that it has given me TMJ. His personality is great but he does not care.
Dr. Hanley is extremely friendly, calming and always very professional. His new partner and the remodeled area of the office suite is fantastic! They haven't had to do any major work on my teeth yet (thank goodness!) - so far I've been very happy with my regular checkups.
I am no expert on dentists' regular procedures. I have probably only been to three different dentists during my lifetime (No, I've been to the dentist plenty thank you! )-- Anyway, the only thing that bugs me a bit here is that you get about 90 seconds with Dr. Hanley and 20 minutes with an assistant--that is for a check-up/regular cleaning which is all I've needed and had this same experience every time I've been (5 or 6?)-- I don't mind that I don't need the Doctor's full attention and that his time is probably better spen... read more
Dental hygienist is superior; dentist and staff are very good. Up to date equipment. Virtually painless.
I had to select a dentist when I moved to the area. I chose Dr. Hanley by location and insurance. I have been to Dr. Hanley for 3 years now. They staff is pleasent and explains billing as needed. My insurance is filed by the office and I need to pay nothing except the anticipated co-pay up front untill my insurance company replies. Dr. Hanely has not reccomended any unnecessary dental work.
