Customer service lacking after purchase. Purchased vehicle beginning of May, at time of purchase I asked if slight damage could be repaired. Salesperson had a part person look at the damage and said it could be fixed, no problem. During closing of purchase sales manager signed document stating piece would be replaced. Had to call back at the end of May for update on when license plates would arrive and when vehicle could be scheduled to replace part. Received plates and registration a couple days later. RecommendedI showed up at Browns Truck and Trade on a Sunday (thank you for being open on Sunday) the minute they opened. I was greeted by Sergio. I knew what I wanted to look at but after I looked at it, I realized it was not the truck for me. I purchased my vehicle from Browns early in May. It was a new but used 2019 Mazda CX-3z. Great vehicle- slightly higher price but I thought it was well worth the investment. Now the vehicle is under the factory warranty so any repairs needed, I would have to take it to a Mazda dealership- And I understand that this Brown’s dealership specializes in VW vehicles. A few weeks later, my AC is only blowing out hot air so I take it to a nearby Mazda dealership and it shows that the car was low on Freon. No big deal easy fix. A few... read more
My son bought a truck from them on 6/22. They told him they would call him to detail it and that never happened. He has called twice to find out where his hard plates are, all he gets is we will have to call you back. Please before you buy look under the hood. His air filter was so nasty he went out and bought a new one.
I had an overall poor experience at Brown’s. I would only give it two stars for two reasons: Jay Grayson was great to deal with and very helpful (unfortunately, he was on vacation when it came time to actually complete the transaction), and because I thought the price point for the Expedition I bought and my trade in were fair. Went in the other day and met with Hector and Jay - Tremendous service. These guys helped me through the whole process, didn't try to rip me off, and were willing to work and accommodate my tight schedule and requests! I've been used to going into dealerships and having some awful deal making processes, but this was quick, easy, and actually fun. If you're interested in a Jag or pre-owned luxury vehicle I would absolutely not hesitate to go give them a visit!
Horrible Customer Service
Will shake you down if you are foolish enough to use them for state inspection. In June they rejected my car claiming I needed new front/rear pads and rotors and sensors...on a 2013 XF w/fewer than 50k miles. Took to two mechanics who both independently agreed it met standards. To be on safe side I had David Word auto (always use them now!) replace a single brake pad for a fraction of the shakedown. Drove 2 hours to look at a vehicle, only to find out that it wasn’t available. Kevin was fantastic, he was trying to be as helpful as possible. The racist and condescending salesman was absolutely horrid. I will not ever being going back and I will do what I can to protect other from having the same experience.
