Bunch of careless idiots. Don't go here unless you're willing to give up your first born!! Kept my car for a month, no call, giving me the run around just to get more money out of me. Disgusted!!
RecommendedIf you want your vehicle serviced right the first time, then look no further than Brown Motor Works on Broad River Road. By far, the best repair shop I’ve ever used for servicing my vehicles! Great staff, fair and honest prices and quick. Example: took my Subaru Forester in for new front brake rotors and pads. Service appointment was set for the following day. But just two hours later they called and my car was ready to go! Now that’s real service. This is the only shop that will ever service my vehicles. They are that good.
It’s an experience you’ll never want to forget. They have the best people and their work is Immaculate!

The people here are super friendly! I had a bad shop experience, and they were able to fix my car in like three hours! I highly recommend them.
Had an out of town Mini dealer diagnose a problem, but I decided to have my guys at Brown take a look at it. After thoroughly examining the reported problem area, they came back and told me there was no problem. Apparently the other guys were "mistaken". Brown didn't charge me anything. I trust these guys, and will continue to bring my vehicle to them whenever I need something done.
I was served by great ownership and technicians today at Brown Motor Works on Broad River in Columbia. RA Brown was nice, thoughtful in explaining the work and the ticket, which was reasonable. They do four-wheel alignments for exotic cars for $105, and I felt like I was worth something there. They even washed off the pollen afterwards. Kudos to car mechanic shops that still do things the right way, not hustle you in and out fast for all they can get.
