We took our first trip this year to Brown County State Park on October 15th and had a blast. We went again two weeks on October 29th later and had a good time as well. Our only complaints would be traffic backed up on IN 46. Both times we went were Saturdays and traffic was backed up for 5-9 miles heading towards the park. Additionally some of the trails are very tight if you have families traveling in both directions. Also some of the wood bridges were torn apart on trail 4/5. I have been to Brown County State Park many times and stayed at Abe Martin Lodge. I will continue to do so for years to come. It's a beautiful park with gorgeous views and great trails for hiking! I highly suggest making a trip here.
BEAUTIFUL WEATHER, HAD A GREAT VISIT IN THE PARK. Will be back next year for sure. The park was very clean.

It's a beautiful park. Arrive with plenty of time at your disposal however, as there are crowds and limited parking.
Haven't been to the park since I was in the college at IU in the early 80’s. Such a beautiful Park. Loved hiking the trails. Will definitely come back sooner.
