We just stopped by on our way back to NWI from Louisville. We just drove through and looked at the leaves and beautiful sites. It was an awesome afternoon drive.
We love walking around Strahl lake. It is very peaceful. We always stop at one of the vistas and have a picnic. In another couple weeks, the trees will be dressed in all of their fall hues and will be simply gorgeous. Can't wait to go back then!!
Nice place to visit. Leave were beginning to turn different colors and made it very beautiful. Go visit the The Brown County Park when you are in the area.

We had a great weekend, but I do totally agree with the last poster. On trail #4 there were picnic tables completely mired in inches of mud on a very dry year, there was a section of bridge missing and I thank whoever placed the log there for me to use as a step down. The sign in box was still full and unorganized. The main restroom at Raccoon Ridge was such a mess on Saturday afternoon we decided to trek on back to our RV and use our own facilities.
