Beautiful store, lots of instruments. friendly people.
So disappointed. I rented a saxophone and had it for less than 24 hours. My daughter was not able to get the mouthpiece on even it cork grease. When I returned it, I was not able to get of my money returned. I was told that it was the store policy. I asked for a store credit and was denied. I asked to speak to the manager. The clerk emailed her and then gave the same response. Next time I will ask more questions about the return and rental return policy. #notreturningasacustomer
There was an Alverez guitar that I wanted to try, and after looking at the Alverez web site, I saw that Broughton Music was a dealer. I called up and spoke to Linn, who told me they didn't have any in, but would be getting more. She took my number, and actually called me back when they arrived. I went and tried out the guitar, loved it as much as I hoped I would, and made the purchase. Staff is always helpful and friendly. My son has autism and started taking guitar lessons here. They were excellent at taking the time to go over the various instructors to make sure we found a good match for my son and they could not have selected a better instructor; I've never seen my son open up so quickly to someone he has just met and they have a great rapport. My son loves going for his weekly lessons and has learned so much!
The staff is great! They even have a wonderful open mic night every Wednesday that I make sure to never miss.
