My uncle was at Broughton for many years (25ish...). My uncle was sent to Grace Hospital, no one was notified. He passed away Dec. 19, 2020, no one was notified. After a Christmas card was returned to my mother, and after investigation, we found out he passed away. Neither Broughton or grace hospital would give any information to the family. A terrible environment for anyone that isn't a murder.
RecommendedI have a long story it wasn’t really fair what happened but demons are very real and you don’t want to mess with them I am a believer in the messiah. I had a journey a task I was suppose to do and angels instructed me what to do and God not everything I believed in back then was true. I had a paper but no pen yet God wrote my story. I was 14 when I was taken against my will from one hospital that I was supposed to get help from to broughton which was a few hours away from where I lived. my mama didn't know where I went. I rode in a back of police van forever. got denied at several other hospitals. couldn't call my mama and couldn't see her the whole time I was gone and finally put away at broughton. they never helped me. just gave me sleeping pills. basically telling me it was better for me to be asleep than to be awake. i was 15...admitted against my will...once i turned 16, i was told i needed an escape plan or else i would die in this place once transferred to the adult side at 17.5-18! thank god my mom figured out where i was after ronald millions lies!!!! she saved me! she didnt know i was there cause he lied! custody said both parents must consent but he lied!!!! thank god she checked the return address on a letter! the abuse i suffered is beyond what any 15 year old should! or anyone ever should and all i did?????? lie to my step mom ... read more
